John C. Garand Match

With Modified Garand Class

Date:  29. March 2008 and 29. November 2008

Place: Blue and Gray 200 yard range Guntersville, Alabama

Time: Sign in starts 0730,First shot 0900

Entry Fee: $30.00

Rules: CMP Competition Rules

Eligible Rifles: See CMP rule 6.2.4

Targets: 5v “A” target (if we have enough, otherwise the sr target will be used)

Modified Garands: Must meet CMP service rifle  requirements. See CMP rule 6.0

Loaner Rifles: Some loaners available. Please notify us if you are in need of one.

Awards: Trophys for match winner, high carbine and high Springfield. Also gold,

silver, and bronze pins from the cmp.

 

All shooters must have an eligibility & liability Affidavit agreement,  this will be

available at sign in.

 

Ammunition for this match is free. If you draw ammunition, it must be used in the match.

We will have M2 Ball and Carbine Ammunition available.

 

All rifles will be inspected before the match. Inspections on the line are possible.

 

Bring your lunch, and drink, we may have burgers and dogs available, then again, we

may not. Still trying to work that out.

 

This match benefits the ALABAMA SERVICE RIFLE TEAM and their trip to the national

matches at camp perry, ohio every year. We appreciate you coming to shoot with us, and

welcome any comments or suggestions on the running of this match.
