Executive Committee Meeting: The August Executive Committee meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on August
22nd at Oh-Bryan’s restaurant in Madison. Oh-Bryan’s is on Browns Ferry rd west of Hughes rd. Members are
invited. Those planning to have a meal should get there by 6:00.

Friends of the NRA: Club Member Dan Fox is chairing a Friends of the NRA event on Thursday August 2, 2007
at the Redstone Arsenal Officers Club. He could use volunteer help. Dan can be reached at deugenefox@bellsouth.net

Range Safety: Members are reminded that placing targets on the ground short of the backstop or on top of the
crossties is against club rules. Ricochets can occur off the ground and damage to the crossties will occur from low
shots and bullet splatter.
NRA Pistol Instructors Course: The club has agreed to allow the range to be used for an NRA Certified Pistol
Instructors Course on August 24th and 25th. Scott Vandiver from Marietta, GA is the instructor. There is space
available for additional trainees. The cost of the course is $225. If you are interested in participating, contact
Mr. Vandiver at guninstructor2@bellsouth.net or 770 377-1635. The Range will be CLOSED for other use on
both days.
Tullahoma High Power: We have scheduled a full course High Power match for Labor Day, Sept. 3rd. The
scheduling situation for the range is somewhat fluid. There may be additional matches held there this year. It is
also planned to conduct occasional practice sessions there throughout Daylight Savings Time. Practice sessions
will be announced via the club web-site.
