New Members:  Willis Haycock, Kenneth Hislop, Matthew Pike, Howard Pitts and George Provancha

 

Range Safety Officer Training:  The Club is offering NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) training.  The training

will take about all day.  The location will be at Taylor Electric in Madison on July 22.  John Maguire will conduct

the training.  The cost will be $75 per student.  Contact James Moses on 534-7968 if you wish to take this training. 

We have 10 people signed up and have space for 5 more.  Those that have signed up should bring cash or a check

 made out to John Maguire to the session.  Training will begin at 9:00 a.m.

 

High Power Match at Tullahoma:  The Club sponsored a successful 80 shot full course High Power match at the

TN National Guard Range outside Tullahoma on June 24^th.  Club V.P. David McAlister was match winner.  Club

member Philip Crowe won 3 of the 4 fired matches.  Additional matches are anticipated.

 

John C. Garand Match:  The Club will sponsor a Garand match on the 200 yd range on Sept. 30^th.  We will fire

on the old 5V target.  Ammunition will be issued and included in the entry fee.

 

100 yard High Power Championship:  A special match will be held at the Magic City range on September 9^th to

help support the State High Power team.  This will consist of the National Match Course and a 100 yard John

C. Garand match fired concurrently.  A barbeque will follow.  Contact John Liechty at highpwr67@bellsouth.net
