BLUE AND GRAY RIFLE AND PISTOL CLUB

The Blue and Gray Range is located very near Guntersville Dam at the red star on the map.  Here are some basic directions: travel south from Huntsville on Hwy 431/Governor's Drive through Owens Cross Roads and New Hope and then into Marshall County; at this point you will be looking for a road to the right, which is Guntersville Dam Rd., there is a large sign that indicates the turnoff for the TVA Guntersville Dam; take that turn to the right and go almost exactly 3.0 miles, you will see a blue sign on the right for some sort of TVA maintenance building, in front of you on the Guntersville Dam Rd. you will see a yellow gate, which should be open, and on your left you will see a gravel road with a yellow gate, as well, and this is where you want to go to get to the range, it is not very far, maybe 200-300 feet.  If you come on a Saturday morning when there is a match the gate should be open, otherwise it is should be closed.  So, to recap: south on Hwy 431, into Marshall County, turn on road to Guntersville Dam, go 3.0 miles, look for yellow gate and blue TVA sign, turn left on gravel road.
