| "Many thanks to all
that showed up, shooting, or not. I'm sure that the heat was not as bad as you
no-shows thought it was gonna' be, as long as you were thinking it was going
to be like shooting on the sun....it was a little cooler than that....not
much. Reed, shooting some kind of British looking rifle, overcame Pookies lead to take the win by 7 points. Howard, shooting a borrowed 03A3 that had a rear sight that kept sliding down, hung in there till the end. I'm sure he has a special thank you for the nice person loaning that rifle. Allen, shooting a Swiss or Swede...or some place over there rifle, had some massive rifle problem during the sighting period. He chose not to shoot the match, until his rifle calms down. Next 200 yard match is on the first Saturday of October, details will follow soon, better practice up on your pistol skills, they might come in handy at this match, on the other hand, maybe not." |
